    Just when it's getting time to drag out the Castrol hoody you won at Xmas.
    Castrol have pillaged the store room again for us, and have delivered a truck load of Castrol EDGE, a fistful of BP fuel cards and a Castrol racing jacket signed by Greg Murphy.

    To enter;
    'Find the most obscure Castrol sponsored car'. Must include a picture and brief description to be eligible. You may enter more than once.
    The competition will run for the month of April 2010 and will close Midnight Friday the 30th of April 2010. The draw will be made by Castrol representatives the following week.

    So up for grabs is:

    1 x Casrtol Racing jacket signed by Greg Murphy.
    5 x Castrol EDGE oil packs (Castrol EDGE viscosity to suit your engine type) - 15L for each winner (3 x 5L packs)
    10 x $50 BP fuel cards

    Right I'll play

    The Castrol Edge line of the global motor lubes maker, will sponsor the UAE's leading rally team, Team Saluki, for the fourth year running at the UAE Desert Challenge - the penultimate round of the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup and FIM Cross Country Rallies World Championship set to start today and run till Friday.
    So does it count as obscure as the sticker on the door?

    Lowering the bar.

    Based on the famous Maruti Trike, the Castrol jet-like 3 wheeler enabled call center staff to get from the homehut to cubicle-land in record time, while also supporting the transport of rice, grains, 3 wives, 44 children and a dog and or monkey.

    Donor Card GT, Gaydon, Warwickshire
    The 2006 'Donor Card Grand Turismo' scenic tour has exceeded all expectations by taking the total amount raised for Cystic Fibrosis to ?28,000 in five years.

    Organised by the Historic Rally Car Register and Continental Car Tours, the non-competitive tour ran for the fifth time on Sunday 22 October. A field of nearly 60 cars, including many classics from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, took part, with the tour starting and finishing at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon.

    HRCR president and rallying legend Paddy Hopkirk was present at Gaydon to flag the cars away and bring his unique infectious enthusiasm to proceedings.

    As well as raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the event is also designed to raise awareness of the need for people to carry donor cards.
