I bought this a few months ago, one of only four factory JPS Norton's in private ownership the rest are owned by the British Museum. A very rare bike with loads of provenance, one of the first factory race bikes.

Hope to ride it at the AMF this year.

It is not mint but in race condition as it was used, Norton raced on a shoestring back then.
All the Dunlops have ridden on this bike as well as Trevor Nation, Steve Sprey and John McGuinness.
Over the years Dunlop set a TT lap record and 3 Northwest 200 wins.

You should have seen the condition of my Ducati 955 Corsa when I bought it. "Well used" would be a major understatement
Like all my stuff it got the full Monty "last nut and bolt" restoration. I reckon I used it less than a dozen times before it ended up in my office

I'm happy to have it there, it is one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever designed IMO, just a work of art.

No not really, side panel and bellypan will repair all the dry powder was cleaned off straight away.

Looks like the needle and seat on one of the carbys had not seated and the overflo bottle dripped onto the header.
It was a slow burn but felt like ages before it was put out. I had an extinguisher with the bikes at the display in the oval.

The bike won best of show and was asked to start it up and ride to the podium.

Shannon?s we?re at the presentation and said no problem regarding a claim but I?m not going to bother.
