Nope, the P15 is part of the "Ultimate Series" of cars.

The LT version of the 720 is part of the "Super Series" of cars and is still a couple of years away.

The LT is considered to be a normal production model. The "Ultimate Series" is highly limited and allocated to specific customers by the factory.

We never got any of those because the 688 HS was a specific commission by a group of customers who banded together and requested it.

4% of LT allocation and only 2% Senna (based on 10) we've been ripped...

The P15 design is very clearly driven by aerodynamic concerns above literally all else. It's no looker; but I'm betting the performance will raise the bar to a whole new and previously unheard of level in a "road" car.
i guess we all have different tastes.

while the 650 & 675 weren't ugly, i think the least attractive aspect of the 12C was the rear, yet that remains unchanged on the facelift cars. then the 570 is no looker IMO, the 720 is really unpleasant and this thing is just horrendous.

but i'm sure as you say it will raise the performance bar.

You and I sure have different tastes

I reckon the 720S is just a fantastic design, the more I see it the more I love it.
The 570GT is IMHO the prettiest car in the whole McLaren stable.

We do agree on the rear of the 12C/650S though, it is the weakest aspect as far as I'm concerned.

The Senna is becoming less confronting with familiarity; but I don't think I will ever be comfortable with the design.

Some "Super Mario" panel shop owner from the western suburbs of Sydney/Melbourne will pay too much for the wreck at a forthcoming salvage auction and bodge it up into a "repaired" vehicle over the next 10yrs. Same as it ever was

I too am guilty of growing to like things over time.

i remember when the F40 came out i thought it looked odd, yet it's among my top 5 cars these days.

At the end of the day style is subjective and looks dont always sell cars, just look at BMW for the last 10 years, they sell non stop despite being ugly as hell. there's been some improvements but overall they've really left convention behind in my eyes.

    That would make more sense.

I've emailed the London dealer to see if I can buy one there. The Australian dealers say they can't help.

I think it will be a good investment at this price where there is precious little competition.

Better inside the car than out...

May look ugly as sin but it'll drive like nothing else

Yep +1 you can't see it from the driver's seat. However if it were me...I'd be more inclined to push hard for the BP23...
