    There's some try hard know it alls on there that think stopping distance is determined by tyres.

    Furthermore, the National Ferrari club presidents day job, is selling brakes... Bendix Ultimate among them.

    I wouldn't call myself a try hard.

    As you know I love my Ferodo DS3000's and yes I have been guilty as charged in saying stopping distance is also controlled by tyres. I still believe that and that it's a combination of both, for example I easily lock the fronts on the Ferrari with the DS3000's with the XWX's, and yet with the R tyres they don't lock as easily which to me says the tyre must make a difference.

    We're all here to learn so am happy to be corrected.

    You're correct, because you're smart enough to know what you dont know, and to try things out.
    I was referring to the theory gurus that lack real world experience, yet preach as if it were gospel.
