Castrol EDGE with Titanium Fluid Strength Technology? is Castrol?s strongest and most advanced range of engine oils. Castrol EDGE 5W-40 SN is a full synthetic, SAE 5W-40, API SN/CF, ACEA A3/B4 engine oil formulated for performance vehicles in both petrol and diesel passenger* and light commercial vehicles, naturally aspirated or turbocharged.
* Excludes diesel passenger vehicles fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Castrol EDGE 5W-40 SN provides outstanding wear protection in high performance engines designed to run at their optimum level on lower viscosity oils. Castrol EDGE 5W-40 SN should be used in engines where maximum efficiency and protection is demanded. Castrol EDGE 5W-40 SN is suitable for use in automotive gasoline or diesel engines* where the manufacturer recommends an ACEA A3/B4, API SN/CF or earlier specification 5W-40 lubricant.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
Castrol EDGE 5W-40 SN is considered non-hazardous according to Worksafe. It is recommended that the handling instructions outlined in the Castrol Material Safety Data Sheet be followed, see www.msds.castrol.com.au.
Spillage
Small: Soak up using an inert mineral adsorbent such as Castrol MOP S and dispose of in the appropriate manner.
Large: Corrective action usually dictated by individual company safety procedures. Immediate containment and subsequent removal is essential.
Disposal: Oily materials must not be allowed to enter groundwater, watercourses, sewerage or drainage systems. Refer to local Waste Disposal Authority for legal requirements.
Product Removal
Bare Metal Surfaces: Remove with Castrol solvent cleaners or water based degreasers.
Hand Cleaning: Use any of the Castrol range of hand cleaners, e.g. CareClean Plus.
Other Surfaces: Contact your local Special Products Division in each State Office.
