hey guys.

Thought i would post this up. back in 2010 these guys set the World Record for a Modified Partial Streamlined Electric Motorcycle and the Australian Land Speed Record for an Electric Vehicle on the Australian Salt Lake event, Speed Week 2010. thread can be found here . (https://aussieexotics.com/forum/odyssey/odyssey-powered-bike-sets-the-record-8252.0.html)

and in 2011 they have started working on they're next project.

the awesome thing about these guys and like a true DIY everything is built in a shed with no formal training .

?We used Odyssey batteries in the 'Catavolt' - our land speed record breaking electric motorcycle (MPSΩ class) in 2010, after a lot of experience with other battery chemistries. We stacked 13 into the bike for the record assault on the Lake Gairdener salt lake, and after a failed attempt in 2009 (with LiFeP04's) we walked away with a record! So impressed with the reliability of Odysseys, we've now adapted our electric racecar, the 'Odyssey Formula Green' to run on 2 huge banks of PC680's. Our quick charge cart is stacked with Odysseys as well - really, in all this electric racing biz, it's all about the batteries - and I have no hesitation to recommend Odysseys for their ease-of-use and reliability.
