I've done the first step:
http://forumbattle.com.au/category/competitors/
Obviously I will relinquish my Sprint spot for either one of Scud's racers or FF's Radical.

Time for you to take over and get this organised!

i did notice one of the regs says the owner must be the driver.... so no stand in racers

btw.... who would have the fastest drag car here :? turbo s + launch control = 10.7sec

think we will need something faster

Yep, I've given things a look over - just haven't had any time to do stuff, got tomorrow off though so am on it.

Ultima?

Depending on if they have classes.. the Ultima would be good for a naturally aspirated class and a 458 for a stock class if they have them.
Theres bound to be plenty of guys in forums with 8 and 9 second race only cars.

In the show and shine Category the AussieExotic team have entered 2 show stoppers; a Ferrari 348TB and a Lotus Esprit S4s. Both Cars are Concours d?Elegance conditions with the Lotus having multiple state and national concours wins. AussieExotics have definitely brought it?s A-game.
Yeah, thats the "A"ndecorp-game, so far.

Ultima's in if you guys are keen!

I posted the drag times from Sash a while back on another topic. Engine has loosened up now so it's good to go :)

I had a quick click about...

what are the dates of all this?

The Radical would be up for it for sure.

Now we have an official entrant I'm planning on going over so happy to help anyone that enters for the weekend. I'm guessing the 348 and S4S wont need any help detailing though, they're bound to be Super Marioed.

same weekend as clipsal so all GT associated people will be out

unless they did the 12 hr instead and aren't going to clipsall....

hence...

why I specified GT and Clipsal!

20-12-11, 01:53 PM
well, some GT people will be at both, and some GT people will be at neither... and some GT people will only be at the 12 hr, and some GT people will only be at the GT :tilt:

Well, will any be at the forum battle?

Maybe the Clipsal people should be told there is a forum battle on same weekend so they can change their dates...

Ash, you need to get onto this ASAP. I have been asked to pay the entrance fees. I am pulling out unless this is organised properly and we fill up all entires so we can win (which we will if we do it). If it's not done properly so we can win, it's no point doing it.

Have sent an email to management for extra info, and looking to mailout to AE with some easily digestable info tomorrow.

Any stuff that would be useful to be included please post it.

I just got the email from AE!

Yeah I know a lot of people going to this, but they're all in rice bar a select few from the VAG communities.

A stock 458 will kill most of the competition out, but there's a couple drag dedicated people who might be going who run mid-high 8's w/NOS if they'll allow it on the day. (Orange, Red and Black B5's)

There may be a Blue ~650kw S15 out there too - not sure if he'll put it on the track or not.

I might go for a look on either/both days, but I can't hit the track in my car, get dominated - I'll leave the reppin' to some people here who can take the fight to them
