Ford's World Rally star Jari-Matti Latvala believes Jenson Button can back up his recent victory in Hungary and take the spoils when Formula 1 returns to action at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend.

Button's hopes in Belgium imploded last year when Sebastian Vettel speared into his side and sent him out of the race, but Latvala believes the Briton can bounce back from that disappointment and claim a second straight victory.

Behind him, Latvala is backing Vettel to preserve his healthy points advantage by finishing second, with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton - who triumphed at Spa last year - rounding out the podium trio.

"Spa is well know for the way the weather can change all of the time from one side of the circuit to the other and, for me, the driver who can take advantage of this best is Jenson Button," Latvala explained.

"I think this will be a strong race for McLaren with two steps on the podium.

"Vettel is always going to be there ? and looking to recover some ground from what has been, by his standards, a tough summer."

Fernando Alonso, strongly tipped by our Castrol EDGE (http://clixtrac.com/goto/?47616) Grand Prix Predictor Experts, will finish fourth in Latvala's prediction, ahead of Mark Webber and the Mercedes duo of Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher.

Felipe Massa and Vitaly Petrov complete the top nine, while national pride may be chiefly responsible for the selection of fellow Finn, Lotus' Heikki Kovalainen, in tenth.

"I?ve put Heikki in 10th," Latvala said. "The Lotus has been improving recently; hopefully there will be some Finnish flags flying at F1 races again!"
