EXTREME MAXIMUM POWER TEST
Our best oil just got better...
We took two identical cars, both with 4.6L V8 engines, and filled one engine with Castrol EDGE (http://clixtrac.com/goto/?47616) and the other with a competitor?s synthetic oil.
Using a special test chassis dynamometer the cars were run flat out at maximum power (225bhp) without topping up the oil. Our engine was still running strong 40 hours after the competitor?s engine had seized. What?s more, Castrol EDGE (http://clixtrac.com/goto/?47616) outlasted 10 rear tyres, 1 radiator, 1 transmission, 1 catalytic converter and the car used 5 tonnes of fuel.
Castrol EDGE (http://clixtrac.com/goto/?47616) Sport 0W-40 and Castrol EDGE (http://clixtrac.com/goto/?47616) Sport 10W-60 were proven to maintain maximum horsepower for up to 45% longer than other synthetic oils.
